Welcome to the Family
Colin Butcher
Owner
Colin has worked on the farm for the last 35 years. He and his brother Phil took over the running of the farm from their father Doug and Uncle, Wallace. It was Colin and Phil that built the chicken house that has recently been converted to a free range chicken house.
Jason Butcher
Farmer
Jason came home to work on the farm 11 years ago. He has completed an apprenticeship in poultry management and had the not so bright idea of keeping sheep and pigs. Jason is also the "IT guy" on the farm and runs the computers and the website.
Shep
Sandwich Stealer
Shep is a our Border Collie, he joined the family as a pup in December 2014. He is never far away when we are doing anything with the sheep. He isn't the best at listening at times and has a habit of trying to do his own thing when herding sheep. He is the friendliest of dogs and loves attention and will wrap his paws around you for a cuddle.
